International Admissions Information

International Admissions Information

This page contains information relevant to students that are not part of the UK or EU and wish to study at Qantm College London, UK.

Students from the EU do not need a study visa for the UK and can simply come here to study. Further information for UK / EU students can be found on the UK / EU Admissions page.

Visa

Students from the EU do not need a study visa for the UK and can simply come here to study. EU students can also apply for student loans for our full degree programmes. Please see Finance for EU students.

Students from other countries will need a study visa. Please see UK Visas - Students for further details. Qantm acts as a sponsor under Tier 4 and issues a unique Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies to students who have completed their enrolment. This confirmation is then used to apply for a visa. Please note that in the Home Office usually does not issue study visa for part-time courses. However, students regularly obtain study visa for the Game Design + Development Diploma, 3D Animation Diploma and Web Design + Development Diploma, BA/BSc (Hons) Web Development.

In order to apply for a visa one would typically contact the UK embassy in their home country. It is best to start this process when applying for the course to SAE. Once the SAE registration fee has been paid and the applicant has been accepted on the course, we will issue a confirmation letter. This confirmation letter will be required for the visa application. If a visa application is unsuccessful, we will refund the registration fee minus an administration fee.

It is essential that applicants inform us about their progress of the visa application, especially if it has been declined

Policy in Relation to Applicants with Disabilities

Qantm College is sensitive to the desires and requirements of all individuals and groups wishing to undertake study with the organisation and, wherever possible, endeavours to provide an environment where study can be safely undertaken by students with a range of abilities. Selection procedures for applicants with disabilities are dealt with on an individual basis, taking into account the precise nature of the disability and in the context of the qualification being sought.

All programmes of study with Qantm involve the use of electronic and electrical technology. The degree of reliance on this technology will vary from course to course. For the most part, these requirements produce no significant barrier to access by those with disabilities. However, Qantm College is particularly cautious in circumstances where students will have access to equipment which, if incorrectly handled, may bring about the threat of injury or death. In the context of programmes currently on offer, this concern is reserved largely for the Accommodation Details:
